CAMPAIGNS
FALL
Each school year, the Foundation raises funds to enhance student learning and inspire them.

Teachers, staff and administrators in the Shoreline School District can submit grant requests to create innovative and equitable learning opportunities.

This year, our goal is to raise $90,000 to empower educators to submit grants that will provide supplies to enhance the curriculum, enable students to go on field trips, and create enriched learning experiences.

These are just a few examples of where your generous donation will support. We couldn't do it without you!
SPRING
Every March, SPSF hosts its annual Spring Event Luncheon. This event provides us with a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and raise funds to support Summer Learning Opportunities.
-
Elementary Summer School: K-3 students work on their literacy skills, and multi-language learners attend language development classes.

-
Secondary Summer School: Classes are offered in math, literacy, dual language, and credit recovery. This is also the time when students can advance their learning get ahead.

-
Summer Reading Program: Each week, teachers correspond and mail hundreds of books to the homes of reluctant or struggling 4th & 5th grade readers. Students and their parents are encouraged to read together daily, resulting in building stamina and confidence.
