GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
BUILDING GOAL GRANTS provide each school with a sum of money determined by the population of each site for the purpose of funding programs that meet each building’s goals. Funds may be used for such things as student programs, assemblies, speakers, and staff training.

CLASSROOM GRANTS funds innovative curricular and school projects that enhance educational opportunities for all district students. Grants may serve one or more classrooms, a single school or several schools in partnership. These center on projects, events and programs that fall outside the scope of district funding. (click

COMMUNITY-WIDE GRANTS support community and school district events, project and programs that benefit the Shoreline School District as a whole.
DISTRICT-WIDE SCHOOL SUPPORT GRANTS
Provide each school the opportunity to apply for funds to be utilized for general usage. Funds can be used for staff training, curriculum materials, student programs or “wish list” items.
EDUCATOR ENRICHMENT are provided through scholarships by granting funds to Shoreline PTA Council and funding for the Teacher of the Year and Staff Person of the Year awards. (click

OPPORTUNITY GRANTS provide each of our schools with an “emergency fund” for school supplies, health checks, field trip fees and other classroom costs for students in need.
SECONDARY ENRICHMENT SCHOLARSHIPS are awarded to Shoreline secondary students for summer enrichment programs, camps or workshops.
SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM provides assistance to 5th through 8th grade students with extended learning opportunities in reading and writing. Also provides tuition assistance to 9th through 12th grade students to gain help in areas of need and enroll in online credit recovery courses.
